Peerio Peer-To-Peer VoIP Solution Enters the Enterprise Market VocalPad, Opens the VAR Channel Conducting Intitial Customer Installations

Popular Telephony, the inventor and leading provider of serverless peer-to-peer communications solutions, has signed a distribution and licensing agreement with Vocalpad, a leading provider of high quality VoIP services to establish the VAR channel for SMBs (small and medium businesses) in Spain, South Asia, Middle East and African countries, as well as a licensing agreement to integrate Peerio in its core product lines.

Popular Telephony’s Peerio products will be part of Vocalpad’s product portfolio, providing enterprises with the end-to-end peer-to-peer solution – serverless, feature-rich and easy-to-use communication tool with the direct connectivity to PSTN and mobile networks.

Vocalpad offers its customers a high-quality long-distance and international carrier services, one-stop access to the latest in VoIP products and solutions with a market leading services portfolio as well as qualified technical and customer support.

Awards-winning, patented Peerio server less middleware resides in the end-points (PCs with PeerioBiz soft-phone or Peerio-embedded IP phones) connected over a corporate LAN. Peerio-intelligent endpoints collectively create a state-of-the-art enterprise telephony system, providing the full range of traditional PBX features along with a richness of modern functionalities. Peerio software gateway module transparently links an enterprise to Vocalpad’s interconnect points for end-to-end connectivity.

Specializing in the VoIP connectivity and system integration services for SMBs, Vocalpad is currently integrating PeerioBiz serverless soft phone solution in a number of financial institutions in Europe and the Middle East.

Vocalpad will be able to offer its customers the range of Peerio-intelligent terminals, ranging from complete feature-rich peer-to-peer VoIP solutions for enterprise customers and PeerioLight, an embedded version for residential users. PeerioLight is an upcoming scaled down version of a Peerio VoIP server less communications solution, including a dozen of common communications features, such as peer-to-peer voicemail, transfer, call hold, call park, conferencing and more.

Moreover, Vocalpad will use Peerio SDK to develop and customize functionalities specifically tailored for its customers. It will also provide a variety of custom interfaces to the PeerioBiz server less soft phone system.
